He earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Universiti Sains Malaysia and completed his Master of Surgery in Orthopaedics (MS Orthopaedics) at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Dr. Ed further deepened his expertise through international fellowships and training in the United Kingdom, Germany, and France, focusing on advanced spinal procedures.
